She was predeceased by: her husband LaDale Brandon; and her son Michael Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, James C. Johnson of Southaven and Paul A. Johnson Jr. of Missouri; and her grandchildren, Kathy Battles, Danielle Hicks, Melanie Ryes, Sheila Johnson, Candice Harden, Serita Lee, Tiffany Stegall, Victoria Avila, Imilie McCutchen, Jacob Johnson, Michael Johnson, Richard Webster and Brandon Hunter Sheila.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel (201 E 3rd St, Leachville, AR 72438). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
