He is survived by: his children, Chester Hawkins of Columbus, Johnnie Hawkins, Jr. of Lepanto and Angela Everett of Bryant; and his brother Billy Hawkins of Southaven, Mississippi.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
