It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Smith (Lavaca, Arkansas), born in Manila, Arkansas, who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Brown and Edith Gracie Smith (Sivage); and his siblings, Alice Hargess, Myrtle Warner, Leo Smith, Leon Smith, Norman Smith and Richard Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Smith (Dotson); his children, John Dee Smith of Fort Smith, AR, Eric Lee Smith of Chandler, OK and Cheryl Ann Moore; and his sister Mary Fern Whitaker of Cave City, AR.
