Pauline Hammons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Pauline Hammons of Lavaca, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Pauline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pauline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wood Bishop and Eddie Mae Bishop (Stem); her husband Jim Hammons; and her sisters, Mary Phillips, Elizabeth Pearson and Sue Tennant.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Shelby (Linda Meyers) of Edgewater, Florida, Keith Shelby (Valerie) of Lavaca and Kenneth Shelby of Lavaca; and her brother Bobby Bishop (Helen) of Charleston. She is also survived by grandchildren; and (11) great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel (32117 AR-22, Charleston, AR 72933). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
