We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2023, at the age of 85, John David Gooch of Lavaca, Arkansas, born in Danville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Gooch and Lottie Gooch; and his brother Dr. Jan Gooch of Atlanta, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Lavaca; his children, Lynette Kenyon of Lavaca and David Gooch (Debbie) of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Lynsey Kenyon Herrington (Daniel) of Denton, Meagan Haller (Dalton) of Magazine, Dr. Laura Kenyon Hutcherson (Conner) of Dallas and Jonathan Gooch of Greenwood, Arkansas; his great grandchildren, Layla Herrington, Jayla Kenyon, Lynley Herrington, Bjorn Gooch and Allyvia Haller; his sister Linda Isaac of Lavaca; and his nieces, Denise Flint (Rick) of Lavaca and Sonja Bowden (Lance) of Atkins.
