He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strobel and Elizabeth Strobel (Schriver); and his wife Voncile Strobel (Whiddon). He is survived by: his children, Kevin Strobel (Elizabeth) of Lavaca, Arkansas and Rachel Strobel (Robert Voepel) of Lavaca, Arkansas; his siblings, Bro. Adrian Strobel of Subiaco Abbey, Billy Strobel of Subiaco, Arkansas, Kate Simmons (Gary) of Paris and Betty Hall (Gerry) of Ratcliff, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Trystin Strobel, Jamysin Strobel, Katie (Buddy Hawkins) and Cameron Bonds; and his great grandchildren, Stevie Kate Hawkins and Jace James Hawkins. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church (1301 Frank St, Barling, AR 72923). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roller Funeral Home (1700 E Walnut St, Paris, AR 72855).
