He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his daughters, Lourie York of Charleston, Elizabeth Willhite of Fort Smith and Wendy VinSant of Huntington; and his siblings, Thomas Barnes of Charleston and Virginia Matthews of Charleston. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
