He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bowen (Brown); his children, Debbie Griffin (Joe) of Lavaca, Eddie Bowen of New Caney, Tina Brewer (Barry) of Lavaca and Terri Arredondo (Michael) of Lavaca; his stepdaughter Susan Hayes (Jeff) of Charleston; and his siblings, Patricia Williams of Aberdeen, Mississippi, Marvin Bowen of Memphis, R. C. Bowen (Barbara) of Fort Smith and Jerry Bowen (Sandra) of West Point, Mississippi. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
