We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 79, Elaine Carney-Dewey of Lavaca, Arkansas, born in Charleston, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Moore, Sr. and Minnie Lorene Moore (Hunter); her husband Billy Joe Carney; her son Jeff Carney; and her brother Billy Ray Moore.

She is survived by: her son John Carney of Lavaca; her siblings, Barbara of California, Orville Moore, Jr. (Carolyn) of Colorado and Stanley Moore of Rogers; and her granddaughter Haven Carney of Arizona.
