He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Olen Sikes and Hazel Vera Sikes (Prater); his son Andrew Sikes; his brother Eddie Sikes; his nieces and nephews, Shelley Sikes, Gwendolyn Eversole, Chuck Platt and Kyle Pitts; and his brother-in-law Jim Christian.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Sikes; his daughters, Julie Amanda Craig (Chad) and Jessica Ann Simpson (Jeremy); his sister Glenda Alphin; his grandchildren, Caden Rodgers, Ethan Riley, Jaxon Smith, Audree Smith, Kynslie Perry, Brystol Perry, Stella Simpson, Ava Sikes and Kimber Sikes; and his great grandchild Korvin Rodgers. He is also survived by many friends and family.
