Curtis Neal Smithson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Neal Smithson of Lavaca, Arkansas, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grady Smithson and Jean Smithson (O'Dell); his wife Carolyn Hogan of Lavaca; his children, Paul Smithson (Peggy) of Abilene, Texas, Rebecca Underwood (Lloyd) of Casper, Wyoming and Angela Horton (Kyle) of Lavaca; and his siblings, Myrle, Jimme Smithson and Joy Saucier. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to the Benevolence Fund at Union Baptist Church; P.O. Box 850, Lavaca, Arkansas 72941.
