She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hogan and Hester Hogan (Keith); and her husband Curtis Smithson. She is survived by: her children, Paul Smithson (Peggy) of Texas, Rebecca Underwood (Lloyd) of Wyoming and Angela Horton (Kyle) of Lavaca. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
