It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Louise Barber of Lavaca, Arkansas, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Roy and Helen Louise Girard (Welch); her husband C. A. Bud Barber; her stepson Clarence Barber; and her granddaughter Sherri Dodson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael C. Barber (Lee) of Lavaca, Arkansas and Kirk E. Barber (Jennifer) of Lavaca, Arkansas; her stepdaughter Judy Jones of Russellville; her sister Susan Geurian (Ken) of Lavaca; her grandchildren, Lee Barber (Stacey) of Jenks, Kerrie Sanders (Gary) of Greenwood, Katie Patton of Fort Smith, Luke Barber of Lavaca, Tony Barber (Cathy) of Portland, Leslie Collins (Mike) of London and Tammy Parks of Russellville; and her great grandchildren, Reese, Adi, Michael, Lila, Rhett, Reagan and Kaylee.
