He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Truck Stop and Julie Sprick (Travis); his grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor; his son Rhett Franks (Angel); his grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Colton and Caden; his nieces, Lisa Helm, Gina Gammill and Tara Hargrove; and his brother DeWayne Franks (Kathrena).

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, to bring a bag of dry dog or cat food to benefit The Charleston Dog Shelter.
