She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Kraus and Eunice Russell Kraus; her husband Larry Eugene Bates; and her siblings, Mervin Kraus, Marzo Kraus, Kenneth Kraus, James Freeman and Alice Yarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Bates (Shanda Bates), Tracy Bates (Tasha Burt) and Annisa Duggar (Michael Duggar); and her sisters, Mary Owen and Linda Crouch. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
