He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford James and Hilda Keefer (Gray); his son Robert Dale Keefer, Jr.; his brother Wendal Keefer; his sister-in-law Judy Keefer; and his great grandchildren, Cotter Turner and Quitman Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma June Keefer (Miller); his children, Jerome Keefer of Lamar, AR, Charles Stephen Keefer, Brinda (David Melson) and Linda (Carl Gardner); and his sister Dolores Davis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
