He is survived by: his wife Tina Carpenter of Lamar; his sons, Clifton Carpenter of Clarksville and Jacob Carpenter (Heather) of Washington State; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Lily, Casey, Natalie and Arwen. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
