We bid farewell to Joanne Hawkins of Lamar, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2024 at the age of 88. Joanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Joanne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joanne has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Sandholdt and Susie Sandholdt (Peterson); her daughter Debra Sue Jennings; and her grandson Anthony Gonzalas. She is survived by: her children, Diana Mansfield (Jimmie) of Batesville, Judy Mullins (Brian) of Oark, Jason Hawkins of Knoxville and James Hawkins (Rebecca) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her pet Oscar. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
