Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jo Dickey and Euna Dickey (Hardcastle); her husband Marion Leroy Shatwell; and her sisters, Glenna Dougan and Azile Moak.
She is survived by: her children, Dickey Shatwell (Teresa) of Lamar, Arkansas and Kimberly Young (Christopher) of Belton, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Karee Davis (Aaron), Jacob Shatwell (Ashley), Danielle Speight (Brandon) and Alex Young (Amber). She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel (509 W Main St, Clarksville, AR 72830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Annie's Chapel Cemetery.
