She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Howard Medrud and Kathryn Viola Corliss Medrud; and her sister Dorothy (Elton Brown). She is survived by: her husband James Grey Harmon; her son James Dale Harmon (Katie C. Harmon); her grandchildren, Corey Dale Harmon, Baylee Hayes and Kaitlin Harmon; and her siblings-in-law, Charlie Harmon, Georgene Karstetter (Richard), Alice King (Robert), Debbie Davidson (David), Peggy Ramsey and Carol Harmon.
