He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie Joe Hicks and Joyce Marie Hicks (Pitts); his brother Jerry Hicks; and his granddaughters, Shannyn Skinner and Lyric Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hicks; his children, Coy Levi Hicks, Michael Robinson, Karli Hicks, Erika Clayborn and Evetta Dyess; and his siblings, Donny Hicks, Doyle Hicks and Rita Spellman.
