He was predeceased by: his father Charles Raines Emerson. He is survived by: his mother Martha Jane Carter (Jack Gregg); his wife Lori; his children, Andrew Emerson, Kevin Moore and Kara Moore; his granddaughter Avery Grace Moore; and his parents-in-law, Don and Edie Tuggle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Program.
