He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Lee" Smith and Earnest Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Smith; his son Cody Smith (Martin Lyons) of Jacksonville, FL; and his brother Richard O. Smith (Lisa) of Lake Village. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
