She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Franklin Burns and Pearl Irene Robertson Burns; her husband Arvel Floyd Gearing, Sr.; her brother Jimmy Wayne "Buddy" Burns; and her grandson Jason Scott Rotton.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Rotton (Curtis) and Arvel Gearing Jr.; her sister Dorothy Cope; her grandchildren, Kenneth Rotton, Rachel Ashburn (Josh), Meagan Hall (Bryan) and Arvel "Trey" Gearing, III; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Chad, Skylor, Chase, Kaden, Chloe, Colby, Avery, Emory and Bristol; and her grandsons, Trey Gearing, Caleb Byrd, Chad Ashburn, Chase Ashburn, Kaden Byrd, Colby Hall and Emory Hall.
