He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Plummer and Lillie Martin Plummer; his grandsons, Charley Plummer and Charles Brock; and his siblings, Edward, Delma, Clarence, Alonzo, Andrew Plummer, Ellen Brandon, Pearl Tolliver and Nancy Plummer.
He is survived by: his wife Dolly Johnson Plummer; his children, Briadia Carter (Andrew) of Lake Village, Princella Plummer Block of Dallas, TX, Thelonia Plummer of St. Louis, MO, Carla Harris (Donald) of Little Rock, AR, Lauren Childs of Dallas, TX, Leroy Carnelle Plummer Jr. of Little Rock and Roderick Plummer of Las Vegas, NV; his mother-in-law Lucille Johnson; and his sister-in-law Margie Plummer (Billy Jones). He is also survived by 42 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren.
