Mulligan of Lake Village, Arkansas.; his siblings, Patrick James Mulligan and Mary Elizabeth Mulligan of New York; his sister-in-law Tami Webb Mulligan; his nieces and nephews, Madison Mulligan Childress (Ford), Caroline Mulligan, Webb Mulligan of Dallas, Texas and Crawford Mulligan of Dallas, Texas; his brother-in-law Ray Bacon of Franklin, Tennessee; his aunts, Vera Pesaresi of Lake Village and Marian Mulligan of St. Joseph, Louisiana; and his cousins, Jo Anne, Eddy Bush and John Peter.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to cousins Jo Anne and Eddy Bush for their extraordinary devotion to John Peter, especially during the pandemic.

“It saddened me deeply to learn of John Peter’s passing. He was a good friend of mine since our Little League baseball days, and we had often kept up with each other over the phone until I lost track of him a few years ago. We shared many of the times written about in his obituary; the salvaging of golf balls from the ponds at the country club, collecting pop bottles, pecans, collecting coins, playing sandlot baseball, football, or basketball on the court at St. Mary’s school.”

“In later years after I moved away, Mulligan would catch me up on the news around Lake Village. When there was no news about town, we talked politics, history and more politics. We sometimes had different viewpoints, sometimes not, but Mulligan would always offer an interesting and friendly debate filled with lots of thought provoking “Roberts, what about this…”. Mrs. Mulligan and Mary, I am so sorry to hear of your losses of John Peter and Patrick.”
