He is survived by: his spouse Oddie Taingle; his daughter Berta Hamblin of Victorville, CA.; his brother Michael Griffin (Kathy) of Chicago, IL.; his grandchildren, Charles Rollins, Kareta Thompson, Shevonia Thompson, Daren Hamblin, Terry Hamblin, Christopher Hamblin, Michele Hamblin and Crystal Hamblin; and his nephew Charlie Woodard of Chicago, IL..
