He is survived by: his sisters, Amy Smith of Fayetteville and Barbara McLaughlin of Spring Lake; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Harvey Smith and Ed McLaughlin; his nieces and nephews, Ben Smith, Jocelyn Cantau (Francois), James McLaughlin, Paul McLaughlin (Jess Saar) and Frances Ann McLaughlin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucie, Charlotte Cantau, Gwendolynne and Charlie McLaughlin.
