He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis Boney and Bessie Mae Bowers; his son Bobby Joe Boney Jr.; and his siblings, James Edward Boney and Patty Sue Boney.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gardner Boney; his daughter Melinda Boney McArthur (Bill) of Chicot Junction, AR; his daughter-in-law Tera Boney McArthur (Robert); his siblings, Price Eugene Boney (Amelia) of Dumas, AR, Linda Joyce Harvey of Warren, AR, Mary Jane Boney Hawthorne (Vernon) of Dumas, AR and Betty Boney Trites (Maurice) of Gillett, AR; and his grandchildren, Witni Boney Knowles, Kyle Boney, Maisi Boney, Bayli Boney, Kayli Selby Lucas (Luno), Kelsi Jo Selby, Willy McArthur (Sherrie), Zack McArthur (Jenna), John McArthur (Deana) and Alec McArthur (Taylor). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Delta Men's Association (1127 HWY 65 S., Eudora, AR 71640). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
