He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Davis and Lorine Davis; his former wife Shirley; his son Roy Dale Davis; his grandson Christopher Mitchell; and his brother Jerry Clegg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Stegall of Jonesboro, Vickie Emerson (Charlie Emerson) of Jonesboro and Sheila Throgmartin of Jonesboro; his brothers, Ronnie Clegg of Angleton, Texas and Louis Clegg of Colt, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Wes Ferguson, Casey Worlow, Aaron Stegall, Heather Ditto and Brandon Davis. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
