It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Riley James Sawyer of Lake City, Arkansas, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Lori Sloan; his uncle Mike Vanoven; and his great-grandparent William Chapman. He is survived by: his mother Mary Sawyer (Phill Bobbitt) of Lake City; his grandparents, Terry "Pappy" Sawyer of Nashville, TN, Larry "Pa" Bobbitt of Jonesboro, Brenda "Granny" Moffitt of Bono and Scott Moffitt (Kim) of Marmaduke; his uncle William Quijano of Seattle, WA; his aunts, Jaclyn Evans (J. T.) of Lake City, Angela Walker (Jason), Anna Sanders (Nick) and Jenn Mask (Matt); his great-grandparent Mary Lou Mullen; and his godparent Shera "Godmomma" Hays (Uncle Josh).
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please consider donations to the Brookland's JROTC program at Brookland's High School.
