She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Gatlin and Lula Gatlin; her son Chris Sims; and her granddaughters, Tiffany Cobb and Erika Blancett.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Holden; and her children, Linda Newcom (Larry) of Jonesboro, Caroline McAdoo (Becky) of Jonesboro, Randy Blancett (Janet) of Lake City, Mark Blancett of Bono, Terri Carmichael of Lake City and Kristi Ridge of Lake City. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woods Chapel Baptist Church (175 AR-230, Brookland, AR 72417). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
