He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Gibson and Maxine Gibson; and his brother L. D. Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Karalee Gibson; his siblings, Shirley Gibson of Lake City, Deloros Gibson of Lake City, Mary "Kay" Gibson of Lake City, Ronnie Gibson (Linda) of Jonesboro and Terry Gibson of Jonesboro; his siblings-in-law, Alma Gibson of Indiana and Thomas McFarlin of Monette; his nephew Michael McFarlin of Monette; and his nieces, Melinda Wells (Brice) of Monette and Patricia Duffel (Phillip) of Monette. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
