He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracy Griggs and John Piercy; his grandparents, John, Jennetta Piercy, Robert and Tabitha Griggs; his grandson Caleb Piercy; his son Charlie Piercy; and his siblings, Rufus Piercy, Ruth Grooms and Billie Fern Piercy.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Piercy; his children, Thomas Piercy (Cynthia) of Forsyth, Joey Grooms (Janet) of Paragould, Glen Grooms (Angie) of Sparta, Michigan, Marsha Eldridge (Jeff) of Lake City, Jody Hoover (Bill) of Conway and Vicky Daemon (Craig) of Omaha, Nebraska; and his siblings, William Piercy (Lillie Mae) of Monette, Laymond Piercy of West Helena, Arkansas and Jewell Rolland of Monette, Arkansas. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
