He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Welton Newcomb and Elizabeth Newcomb Keathly; and his grandson Jared Shaneyfelt. He is survived by: his wife Dee Newcomb; his children, Tonya Taylor of Paragould, Mitzi Medsker of Arbyrd, Dennis Newcomb, Jr. of Jonesboro, Chris Newcomb of Jonesboro, LeaAnn Tacker of Lake City, Daron Newcomb of Jonesboro and Mike Long of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and his sister Sandra Powell of Tupelo, Mississippi. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
