He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordie McHalffey and S. D. McHalffey; and his brother L. C. McHalffey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Diane Pounds McHalffey; his children, Michael Lynn McHalffey of Lunsford and Dinah Carol McHalffey Jones (Keith) of Temple, Texas; his sisters, Kathryn Sue McHalffey Martin (late Gary) of Cullman and Sharon Kay McHalffey Strait (Donald) of Paragould; and his sisters-in-law, Lynnda Maxine Pounds Cannon (late Bud) of Jonesboro and Patricia Anne Pounds White (Curtis) of Russellville. He is also survived by his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
