He was predeceased by: his parent Louis Walker; his daughter Marilyn Holt; and his son-in-law Claude Holt. He is survived by: his parent Mollie Brown Walker; his wife Hazel Bass Walker; his daughters, Nan Bell (Bill) of Lake City, Mary Ann Moates (Wade) of White Springs and Karen Waldrep (Donnie) of Madison; and his sisters, Hazel Stancil of Wellborn and Ethea Smith of Lake City.
