He is survived by: his wife Dana Carter; his children, Nathaniel Carter and Sheena Thompson; his grandchildren, Hayden Carter, Korbin Carter, Aidan, Hollyn, Cole and Asher Thompson; his great grandchild Mariah Thompson; his siblings, Willie Carter (Jo), Scott Carter (Rhonda), Patty Birdsong (Johnny) and Julie Carter; and his brother-in-law Boyd Cobb (Marcella).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
