He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Edge and Alpha Mae England Edge; his siblings, Earnest Edge, Jimmy Edge and Ilene Ashley; and his children-in-law, Ernie Springer, Lee Jones and Kathy Edge.
He is survived by: his wife Stella George Edge; his children, Steven R. Edge (Dorinda) of Lake City and Laura Edge Jones; and his siblings, Julius Edge and Patsy Mumme of San Antonio, Texas.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
