It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Curtis of Lake City, Arkansas, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Curtis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirl "Crook" Hurdle and Connie Alumbaugh Hurdle; her husband David; her daughter-in-law Shea Curtis; her niece Danette Wixson (Newton); her nephew Tyler Clark; and her grandmother Slade Gilley.
She is survived by: her son Brad Curtis; her sisters, Mildred Rand of Lake City and Jean Moon of Lake City; her nieces, Roxann Smith of Lake City, Angie Calahan of Lake City and Shelly Rand of Lake City; and her nephew Toby Rand (Suzanne) of Lake City. She is also survived by five great nieces; two great nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethabara Baptist Church (2235 Co Rd 505, Lake City, AR 72437). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
