He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Nona Douglas (Caudell); his brothers, James Douglas and Raymon Douglas; and his half-siblings, Doyle Morgan, George Douglas, Geneva Petty and June Wise.
He is survived by: his nieces, Tracy Gordon and Markie Collins; his nephew Alan Walth; his children, Jonathan (Becky), Chad (Anitra) and Allison (Tony); and his brothers, Charlie (Nadean), LeRoy (Mattie), Edwon, Joe (Judith), Floyd (Shirley) and Troy (Betty). He is also survived by Five grandchildren Alvin also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
