He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Matthew and Bessie Faye Tarpley (Lucy). He is survived by: his wife Elva Jean Tarpley (Grubb); his daughters, Bonnie Howe of Paragould, AR., Kandi Tarpley of Lafe, AR. and Kelli Nickason of Corning, AR.; his siblings, Daniel Tarpley of Saint Louis, MO., Hershel Tarpley of Lafe, AR., Glen Tarpley of Lafe, AR. and Wanda Owens of Paragould, AR.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Buckhanan (Clinton), Tanya Morley and Maggie Nickason; and his great grandchildren, Carson Pollock, Khloe Pollock and Forrest Buckhanan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs United Methodist Church.
