He was predeceased by: his parents, Doc George and Juanita George; his grandmother Myrtle Ramsey; and his brother Jimmy Speakman. He is survived by: his children, Shane George (Madison) of Lafe, Casey George of Harrisburg and Nikki Lee of Mount Ida; his grandchildren, Oliver George, Preston Watlington, Megan Peevey and Caroline Peevey; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Brueck and Carter Brueck.
