She was predeceased by: her husband James Lewis Smith II; her parents, Toby Clarence and Lelia Ora Whitehead (Whitaker); her son James Lewis Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Johnny Whitehead, Phillip Whitehead and Martha Jane Owens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Weston of Pocahontas, AR. and Sharon (Randal) of Lancaster, OH.; and her brothers, Toby C. Whitehead of Rockford, IL., Bill Whitehead of Elizabeth, AR., Frank Whitehead of Beebe, AR. and Wendell Whitehead of Rockford, IL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
