Derrell Ugene Stormes Obituary

Derrell Ugene Stormes, 77, of Knobel, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 surrounded by his family, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas.

He was born May 12, 1946 in Knobel, Arkansas, to Jerold and Velma Smotherman Stormes.

He retired from Stormes Used Car Business, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the slot machines, watching movies and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include; one grandson: Ryan Stormes of McDougal, Ar; two brothers: Bill Stormes (Linda) of Knobel, Arkansas and Denny Stormes (Rita) of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Velma Dean Summers of Lafe, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents: Jerold and Velma Stormes; wife: Margie Sue Stormes; infant daughter: Tammy Stormes; son: Toby Stormes; and infant grandson: Austin Stormes; one brother: Junior Ray "Buckshot" Stormes; two sisters: Suzie Stroud and Jeroline Smith.

A Graveside. Memorial Service will be Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, Arkansas with Bro. Denny Stormes officiating.
