With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Mason of Knobel, Arkansas, born in Lafe, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Murdoch and Euna Mae Murdoch (Butler); her husband Thad R. Mason; and her son-in-law Kevin Spence. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Spence of Marmaduke, AR., Carla Smith (Mark) of Peach Orchard, AR. and Scott; her grandchildren, Sheila Prince (Cody), Susan Schorer (Rob), Justin Smith, Megan Cornish (Derek) and Becky Liang (Sean); and her sister Dewanda Cavitt. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
