He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Wilkes; his former wife Marion "Mary" Wilkes; and his wife Tina Parker Wilkes. He is survived by: his children, Beth Nolen of Amity, Jasmin Ilsemann of Germany, Cassie Shaw of Royal, John Michael Wilkes, Jr. of Union City, Billy Christian of Arkadelphia, Ricky Wilkes of Arkadelphia and Gary Wilkes of Camden; his grandchildren, Logan Miller, Evelyn Nolen, Drayke Shaw, Kimberly Ilsemann, Matthew Nolen, Aaron Ilsemann, Travis Nolen and Julian Wilkes; his mother Karen Tyree of Norman; his siblings, Curtis Meaders of Norman, Anthony Threet of Norfolk, Virginia and April Randall of Willow Springs, Missouri; and his mother-in-law Gail Parker of Lodi. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
