He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hat and Bertha A. Lowery Hogg; his siblings, Thomas Warren, William Warren, Jimmy Hogg, Neda Dumensnail and Sara "Cricket" Hogg; and his brother-in-law Ernest Folsom.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Hogg; his daughters, Deena Billingsley of Houston, Texas, Gloria Biggs of Livingston, Texas, Claudette (Ted Emitt-Walker) and Sharon Anderson of Kingston; his sister Joyce Folsom of Onalaska, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dustin (Amanda Johnson), Michael Hogg, Jenna Esnard, Carla Hogg, Sterling (Kayla Emitt), Brittany (William Pasons), Jonathan (Chandra Emitt), Cody (Lexie Anderson), Phillip (Bailey Emitt), Breanna Emitt, Caiden Fancher and Trey Walker. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
