It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Emitt (Kingston, Arkansas), who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Madewell and Agnes Gibbs Madewell; and her siblings, Ruby Madewell, Juanita Madewell, Mary Jane McMillan, Willie Madewell, Alvin Madewell, Jimmy Madewell and Kenny Madewell.
She is survived by: her husband William Emitt; her children, Felicia (Billy Hickman), Brenda (Darrell Trammel) and Wayne; her daughter-in-law Shandy Emitt of Huntsville; her brother Jess; and her sister-in-law Judy Madewell of Springdale. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
