He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dale and Doris Maxine Courtney (Rawlison). He is survived by: his wife Lorna Denise Courtney; his son Derrick Lee Courtney; and his sisters, Lisa Dalton and Vivian Chism (Tommy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
